COMMENTS
Impact head coach Nick De Santis: “We had some time to recover from last weekend where we played two games in less than 24 hours. In the first of those games, against Atlanta, we weren’t ready to suffer. This time, we have to be more disciplined defensively and we must remain focused when we walk out onto the field; something we did well in the second game against Charleston. We will be playing eight home games in a 24-day stretch, so we want to start off on the right foot."

Gabriel Gervais: “We absolutely want to rebound against Atlanta and win the game. Sunday, we are going to show our true colors, especially in front of our home fans. The last time we met, we didn’t play our game. This time we will walk out onto the field mentally prepared with the right attitude. We will do everything we can to remain in first place.”

NEXT GAME
> The Impact hosts the Portland Timbers, Wednesday, at the Claude-Robillard Sports Complex (7:30 pm, CKAC).
