MONTREAL - Following a successful home opener against Cincinnati last weekend, CF Montréal will host Orlando City SC this Saturday at 7:30pm at Stade Saputo (MLS Season Pass, RDS, TSN, BPM Sports, CJAD 800).

After securing all three points against the reigning 2023 regular-season champions, CF Montréal will be looking for a second straight win in front of its home crowd. This will be Montreal's second meeting with Orlando after opening the 2024 campaign against the Lions in Florida. That match ended in a scoreless draw on February 24. The Montrealers have an overall record of 9-8-4 against Óscar Pareja's team and 5-3-1 in Montreal.

These two teams will also meet in the East 2 group of the 2024 Leagues Cup group stage, alongside Atlético de San Luis of LIGA MX. The Montrealers will therefore travel to INTER&Co Stadium on July 26 in a bid to qualify for the knockout phase.

After making four saves against Cincinnati, goalkeeper Jonathan Sirois will be looking for his 16th victory in goal for the Bleu-blanc-noir. He would become the Club’s winningest Homegrown goalkeeper. The Saint-Hubert native is currently tied with James Pantemis on 15.

Additionally, captain Samuel Piette is just 22 minutes away from reaching the milestone of 13,000 MLS regular season minutes played with the Club. The midfielder would become CF Montréal’s first outfield player to reach this plateau in MLS, and the 10th outfield player in Club history since 1993.

As for the opponents, they will be heading north of the border aiming to close out a successful two-game stint abroad after a first stop at D.C. United, which the Lions won 3-2 last Saturday in dramatic fashion. After coming from behind twice to draw even, Duncan McGuire scored the winning goal on a breakaway late in second-half stoppage time.
