30,000 Tickets Sold For Crucial Match Against Pachuca

MONTREAL – Less than 48 hours before the second leg of the Champions League quarterfinal series against Mexican club Pachuca, the Montreal Impact announced on Monday that over 30,000 tickets have been sold. The long-awaited match will be played at 8pm at Olympic Stadium (http://marquonslhistoire.com).


Consequently, over 10,000 tickets have been sold in the last five days.


"There is a real excitement for this game and we feel the interest from the four corners of the province,” said executive vice-president of soccer operations Richard Legendre. “Fans were waiting for the result in Mexico and the opportunity to see the new faces with the Impact. They were not disappointed and it shows with our ticket sales. We have the opportunity to make history together Tuesday evening."


Tickets for this great matchup are available via http://marquonslhistoire.com and ticketmaster.ca (1-855-790-1245), as well as at the ticket offices of Stade Saputo and Olympic Stadium.


Stadium gates open at 6pm. The organization invites fans to arrive early to sing and cheer on the players during the warm-up session, but also to avoid traffic and long lineups around Olympic Park or at the ticket windows, as well as at the main entrance due to security procedures.


Pre-purchased tickets may be picked up on Tuesday at Stade Saputo between 9am-5pm, and then at the Olympic Stadium from 5pm.
