LAURENT COURTOIS

“It was a good lesson for us and for me. Last week, I thought the defending in the box was impressive, but this time it was poorer. It's somewhat a reflection of a lot of things for us. We can be either brilliant or mediocre, and collectively it's not consistent. We can't keep showing such wide disparities in our individual and collective performances.”

SAMUEL PIETTE

“I'm not worried. There are a lot of things we need to correct with tonight's game, but we've played 10 games, a lot of them on the road. We've had some bad games, like tonight and in Seattle. Tonight, there were a lot of little things that went wrong for us and we paid for them dearly, but it's not all bad. It's a good reality check for us, I think. It's a bit of a mixed bag, and we need to find the right balance. We're going to analyze all this and we're going to have to bounce back.”

RAHEEM EDWARDS

“To lose 4-1 is difficult, to lose 5-0 obviously in Seattle is difficult, but I think the main concern for me is how do we stop the bleeding. When it's 2-0, I said at half-time, it's important for us to get the next goal and after we conceded one minute into the second half. Let's clean it up and let’s not try to be too naive. Obviously, when we're down we want to push but to be in a smart way. It is kind of concerning but for me, our next step is that if we do concede early, how do we stop the bleeding and how do we get back into playing the football that we did in the last 15-20 minutes of the second half.”
